For Northeast Florida concertgoers whose Friday plans were interrupted, Monday brings a new date to put on the calendar. The Tedeschi Trucks Band’s postponed October 9 performance at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre is scheduled for October 12.
The venue’s official event page confirms that tickets from the Friday show will be honored at the Monday performance. Customers seeking refunds are directed to their original point of purchase. The page lists doors opening at 6 p.m.; doors time should not be confused with the start of the music.
Action News Jax reported that the postponement followed inclement weather. The rescheduled concert is part of the band’s Future Soul Tour 2026, according to the amphitheatre.
The group is led by guitarist Derek Trucks and singer-guitarist Susan Tedeschi. The venue describes a 12-piece ensemble whose catalog crosses rock, blues, jazz and country. It also notes the group’s formation in 2010 and its 2023 arena performances in Boston and New York.
For a TalkLife audience drawn to soul and the human connection in live music, this is a useful invitation to listen across familiar genre boundaries. A blues guitar line, a vocal performance and an ensemble working together can offer different routes into the same conversation about feeling and expression. That is an editorial listening perspective, rather than a prediction about tonight’s set.
The practical details deserve equal attention. A postponed ticket is not automatically a ticket for any other performance on the calendar: the venue’s notice specifically covers the Friday show moved to Monday. Anyone with an unresolved ticket or refund question should contact the seller rather than rely on a social-media comment.
The performance has not happened at the time of this morning report. TalkLife News is not presenting a setlist, reviewing the concert or promising a guest appearance. Those details require confirmation after the event or an announcement from the performers.
Before leaving home, attendees should revisit the official event page for changes and review the venue’s parking, accessibility and security information. After a disrupted weekend, a clear plan is the best way to make room for the music.
