A woman who accused Jay-Z of rape in a 2024 civil lawsuit has recanted the allegation and said that she never met or communicated with the rapper.
The woman, identified as Jane Doe in court documents, had previously withdrawn her lawsuit. Jay-Z later pursued claims alleging defamation and malicious prosecution. His attorneys have now dropped the woman as a defendant in that case.
